Day-by-day itinerary
Day1Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
An early start across the Middle Atlas to Ifrane, the Moroccan Switzerland, and the cedar forests with their Barbary macaques. Lunch in Midelt and the descent towards the desert through the Ziz Valley. Welcome tea in Merzouga, a dromedary caravan with a stop for the sunset, dinner and a night in a haima (Berber tent) with Berber music.
Day2Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fez
Sunrise among the dunes and a dromedary ride back to the hotel for breakfast. The return passes through Erfoud and the Ziz Valley, with lunch in Midelt and arrival in Fez.
