Day1Airport – Fez
Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to the riad.
Day2Fez: Medina and Monuments Tour
Guided tour of the Royal Palace, the Mellah, the medina with its craftsmen and the oldest university in the world. Afternoon at a ceramics and zellige workshop. Overnight in a riad.
Day3Fez – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
The ruins of Volubilis and arrival in Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of the Rif. Traditional wash houses, the kasbah and views from the White Mosque. Overnight in a riad.
Day4Chefchaouen – Asilah
Morning in Chefchaouen and afternoon in Asilah, on the Atlantic shore, with its medina of murals. Overnight in a riad.
Day5Asilah – Rabat
Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Oudayas. Overnight in a riad.
Day6Rabat – Casablanca – Essaouira
The Hassan II Mosque, then the coastal road with lunch in El Jadida and a drive past Safi. Overnight in Essaouira.
Day7Essaouira – Marrakech
The medina and Portuguese fortifications of Essaouira, handicrafts and fresh fish. In the afternoon, Marrakech. Overnight in a riad.
Day8Marrakech
Free day: Jemaa el-Fna, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Majorelle Garden and local food. Overnight in a riad.
Day9Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades
The Tizi n'Tichka pass, an argan cooperative, the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. The Valley of the Roses and the Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight in a riad.
Day10Dades – Todra Gorges – Desert Camp
The Todra Gorges and arrival in Merzouga. A dromedary ride, sunset, dinner and Berber music. Night in a haima (Berber tent).
Day11Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomad Visit – Merzouga
Sunrise and a 4×4 drive around Erg Chebbi: Tissardmin, a Berber settlement, a viewpoint and a Gnawa concert in Khamlia. Dinner and overnight in a riad.
Day12Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fez
Erfoud, the Ziz Valley, lunch in Midelt, the cedar forest with the Gouraud Cedar and arrival in Fez. Overnight in a riad.
Day13Fez – Airport
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
